Place du Canon
The house is at 39 place du Canon. The official starting point of a cycling loop into the Vercors is listed on the same square.

Saint-Gervais · Isère
This is not a ski-resort stay: it is a village beside the Isère, close to La Belle Via with the first Vercors slopes rising just above it.
A clear location
L’Écho du Vercors is honest about its geography: a house in central Saint-Gervais, in the valley, connected to major routes and facing the mountains. It works equally well for an overnight stop or an active weekend.

The house is at 39 place du Canon. The official starting point of a cycling loop into the Vercors is listed on the same square.
Saint-Gervais bridge and the riverbanks provide the village’s immediate landmark between river, cycle route and limestone cliffs.
Resorts, trails and plateaux are reached by road, so conditions and journey times should be checked for each season.
Three ways to set out
The valley and mountains offer very different experiences. The official links below provide current information for planning each outing.
The cycle route follows the Isère through Saint-Gervais. A challenging 41.1 km loop towards the Nan gorges and the Vercors starts directly at Place du Canon.
View the official routeFrom Saint-Gervais, the road to Col de Romeyère leads towards Les Écouges with its forests, stream and marked trails.
Discover Les ÉcougesDownhill skiing, Nordic areas and snowshoeing are found higher in the massif. Openings and access depend on weather and season.
